Sacred heart coin soldered pendant, German Replica, encased in a heavy bezel of pewter. It measures 1 3/4" round.
Commissioned by Albert Anton Reichstaler upon the death of his mother Emily in 1670. The front has a sacred heart with Jesvs in the center ( in the 1600's, U's were V's) The back depicts various medieval images of warriors, and birds with a crown.
