Fleur-de-lis in French, literally means “flower of the lily”. It’s history, as a symbol dates back to the European nomadic people of the 7th century BC. It has been used as a symbol of royalty in France, beginning in the 5th century BC, as well as a Christian symbol, representing the trinity & purity. Over the years, it has become my favorite symbol and I use it a lot in my designs.
