Felted wool art pieces are handmade in our Excelsior, MN studio. Each piece is our original design and all are one-of-a-kind. Sourcing our wood "stumps" is Doug's job and he enjoys going out into the woods near our home to find interesting branches to then cut and become the base to our pieces.
In our continuing effort to support other artists, we have partnered with a Fair Trade Company in Nepal to provide all the felted wool items that you see in each piece and they are then incorporated into our unique designs.
(Fair Trade companies meet strict social and economic standards to ensure fair trade for small-scale workers. They are given a fair wage and good working conditions, and we are honored to support them in this way.)
